Awesome first time in Montana
This place was awesome! The people who hosted were extremely accommodating and a ton of fun as well. The cabin had everything that we needed and was in good distance to all the main sites around Bozeman. It was very close to things but you still were able to feel like you were in the country. It was extremely peaceful and the views were amazing. Dianna and Bill were a blast and we had a great time touring their property and meeting their friends. My dog loved being able to run in the open field and hang with her new best bud Spud. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Like a ranch home from a movie...
I would give The Lodge at Heritage Ranch ten stars if I could! Like a ranch home from a movie… it’s a perfect retreat that seamlessly blends rustic solitude with luxury and modern touches and convenience where needed. Although just minutes from Bozeman, the property feels like being transported to a private estate under the Big Sky. We basked in the silence, enjoyed the endless mountain views, and watched wildlife through the abundant windows for hours. For two people, the home was roomy yet always felt cozy. A family or multiple couples would fit well. We were never without something we needed around the house or in the kitchen – we even had a 12-course meal prepared one night with compliments from the chef on the well-stocked space and room to work. We will be dreaming about future visits to re-experience the serenity of The Lodge at Heritage Ranch.

Such a great spot!
This is a hidden gem right outside of bustling Bozeman. Nestled in beautiful farmland with amazing views of the mountain range from your porch, we enjoyed the sweet and comfortable details of the historic cabin inside and our dogs loved romping in the creek outside while we had an cocktail in the evenings. Far off the road, it’s serene and safe for pups to run around. We will be sharing this with our friends who want to come to Bozeman. Such a great spot!

Beautiful cabin with serene surroundings!
We enjoyed just sitting on the lovely porch listening to the birds and taking in the mountains and sunsets. The cabin was perfect for us and our two young children. The larger bed is up in the loft with a ladder and the twin beds are a trundle bed our girls thoroughly enjoyed. Small kitchen with all the amenities we needed for our stay.

What an amazing house and property
All I can say is that everything about this house and property exceeded all of our expectations. It was perfectly situated just outside of town, allowing us to enjoy the quiet and privacy but easily commute into Bozeman. The house itself is even better in person than in the pictures. A place of respite
Driving from Oregon during an unusual winter storm to visit family in Bozeman, we needed a calm comforting place to rest and recuperate. We arrived to a warm and inviting welcome. Fresh flowers, a portable crib for the baby, and yummy crumble cookies waiting to be devoured. The cabin and grounds were even more picturesque than we anticipated. Waking up to a small heard of deer the first morning, the creek glittering in the morning sun while the fire stove crackled with warmth inside. It felt like home. Big thank you to Dianna and the host team for having all of the amenities and then some. Coffee, cooking spices, bottled water, plenty of fresh towels, a hairdryer, chopped firewood and more. They made us feel supported and confident with our stay. I’m hopeful to return later this year with my boyfriend. (Would be a great place for him to propose!)

Absolutely stunning property
This exceeded our expectations ten fold. It is a gorgeous property- the grounds are immaculate and the landscaping is very well kept. The actual house is the perfect rustic Montana vibe. Right Place...Right time
Bill and Diana have a little gem tucked inbetween Bozeman and Belgrade on 45 acres. We had first class service and felt very comfortable on the property. The pond off the creek was a joy for my 3 boys catching lots of Brookies. Beautiful weather, setting, great mornings, peaceful, views of 3 mtn ranges. We celebrated my mothers 75th birthday and felt like Kings and Queens of Montana!

Bozeman, Love Ln Winter Getaway
The pictures are a very accurate depiction of property. What is hard to capture is everything the property has to offer. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. The main home holds up to its description as a rustic but elegant property, plenty of room for our six adults. Home provided everything you need for your stay. The hosts Dianna and Bill were very friendly genuine people. Couldn’t say enough good things about them. Dianna was able to take time to give us a tour of the converted horse stable barn as well as the cabin. This property is very impressive, Dianna has done an exceptional job designing the horse barn into a beautiful living space. We loved how she incorporated the horse stalls into bedrooms and used the original stall doors as bedroom doors. Upstairs loft is a great place to relax or play games. You will have to book it to see for yourself. We loved our Montana getaway, looking forward to going back. Maybe try out some fly fishing in the summer.

This is hands down the best AirBNB we have ever stayed at. The property is breathtaking and feels remote yet is so close to all that Bozeman has to offer. The cabin is amazing and fully stocked. Sweet Honeymoon Cabin!
We stayed in the cabin at Heritage Ranch for our honeymoon the first week of April. What a sweet place! Bill and Dianna were wonderful and incredibly responsive to anything we needed. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us to kick off our honeymoon! The property is stunningly beautiful — surrounded by snow-capped mountains on all sides. This place is perfect for a couple. It’s small, but cozy and totally functional. My husband loved using the wood stove for heat (although there is a regular heater, too!) The cabin is within 10-15 minutes of a ton of local stuff, and served as a wonderful home base for us for the week. We made day trips to Big Sky and Yellowstone, and the cabin was central to lots of easy day trips. We are already hoping to go back. We may even grab a couple more couples and/or extended family and rent the lodge, which is just as beautiful. 🙂

Absolutely Fabulous
We have stayed in VRBO properties all over the country, from Pawley’s Island, SC to Manzanita, OR and this beautiful property is by far the best. The pictures don’t do it justice and we were blessed with great weather as we used the house for a base for our daily adventures. The kitchen is a cooks dream with top of the line appliances and cookware. I always travel with my own knives because we’ve rarely found good ones, but no need for them here. Shortly after our arrival, we were visited by the property’s delightful manager who filled us in on everything we needed to know and made some recommendations for interesting day trips. Previously, I had contacted the owner who was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a magical week!

This is a FANTASTIC place to stay
The views cannot be beat, the property and the houses are perfect and the owners are caretakers are phenomenal. You can tell they care about delivering a wonderful experience and have thought of every little thing. It has every amenity while still feeling authentically Montana. They’re building some glamping tents on the property that look to be top-notch so we’ll definitely be back to try those out. The barn has been rebuilt and we would love to try that out next time. Its nicer than my own house. The whole property is only about 10min to all the bars and restaurants downtown, while still feeling private, out in the wild and within an hour of any hiking, fishing, etc you want to do. We will definitely be back.

Magical Christmas Stay!!
We booked this trip on short notice looking for a getaway after a tough year, and Heritage Ranch did not disappoint! The breathtaking views were just the beginning of our incredible Christmas stay. It snowed a full 24hrs giving us that white Christmas us Floridians were hoping for! The property gives you that secluded, private feel while also being just minutes from town, the airport and only a short drive from Bridger Bowl, where we spent most of our days. The cabin felt like a home away from home and the wood burning fireplace welcomed us every night upon our return. Communication with the hosts were easy and very accommodating as well! Spud was our favorite guest and definitely one of the highlights of our stay (bring your dog!) Whether you’re looking for just a staycation, or that cozy cabin feel, this is it! We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Bozeman!

Amazing Family Vacation in beautiful Bozeman area
We loved our stay at Heritage Ranch. It was our perfect home base for exploring all that there is to do around the Bozeman area. The ranch was spacious and has several rooms where you can enjoy hanging out as a family – enjoy games by the fire, watch a movie together in the TV room, or enjoy dinner in the beautiful dining room while you can see the mountains all around you. “Last best place”
My now fiancé my dog and myself stayed here for a week, we not only enjoyed the breath taking views of the mountains in the background but also the great hospitality Dianna has set up at heritage ranch. The cabin was spectacular for us for a week, extremely cozy and honestly could not have been more happy with how this tripped turned out, the location is the perfect mix of country side yet a very easy, accessible drive to downtown Bozeman as well as many different hiking locations surrounding the town, would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to just get away from the big city life for a vacation to kick back and take in the true “last best place”, will hopefully be back soon.

Perfect stay
This property is incredible. The house and the amenities are absolutely perfect. From the kitchen and it’s fully equipped facility, the fridge stocked with all that one might need, a terrific coffee machine. The grounds and landscaping were immaculate and tge side patio with very nice grill was the perfect spot to enjoy our meals. The furniture and decor were first rate. The best of all, however, was the owners Dianna and Bill. They were so helpful and they even invited us to spend an evening with them sharing a few bottles of wine with them and all of our dogs. The views were unbeatable. We had a GREAT time during our visit to Bozeman! The cabin met all of our needs and literally had everything we could need (from an extension cord, lint roller, all grilling and kitchen items, extra blankets, pillows….everything!!). It really is such a great find! 10-12 minutes from the airport, super easy! and only 15 minutes from downtown Bozeman/stores/etc but felt like we were far removed from it all! This property and cabin is a MUST SEE!
We wanted a quiet escape with access to hiking but a place we didn’t have to leave if we decided not to. This cabin was it! We have a 3 and 6 year old that ran around the cabin finding birds and gophers and ducks, exploring. We watched the sunset with wine, the sun rise with coffee and there’s just no place more peaceful. We met the owner who was so kind to share about the property and give us tips about the heaters (it went from 70 to 35 in a day!) Even with rain and snow coming in, this was a perfect retreat. We played cards, watched the baby birds under the roof out of our window, made a fire, slept with the upstairs windows open because the rolling brook was so soothing – just can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! Love love love it!

My girlfriends and I had the most incredible time at Heritage Ranch. Bill and Dianna’s home is beautiful and welcoming. If you’re looking for the absolute ideal property to share time with friends and/or family in Montana, look no further! This expansive property has been meticulously set up to provide incredible vistas and comfort. The interior and exterior have been carefully designed to exude Montana’s unmistakeable vibe. The owners are just a stone’s throw away for any questions or needs. Snow capped mountains to your left, babbling brook and baby cows to your right. Also, just a few minutes drive to downtown Bozeman for restaurants and attractions, and a quick jaunt down to Big Sky for skiing and outdoor activities. Does it get any better? Dianna is so accommodating and quick to respond. I cannot stress enough how nice the hosts at this property are. They make you feel like old friends. Also the views/scenery at this Ranch can’t even be put into words, and a thousand pictures don’t do it justice. It’s just outside of town, but feels a thousand miles from anywhere. Amazing! It’s better than the photos …believe it or not. My wife and I spent a month living and loving it. It’s very private, on an amazing ranch property, with spectacular views, 13 mins to Bozeman….which is a great little town, big sky just 35 mins, hiking, biking, great fishing… all around. We spent every sunset bbq-ing on the deck watching the big sky of Montana do it’s thing…..The warm sunset glow, the wild life circling around, the sound of the creek, the “purple mountain majesty”, the distant lightning storms,……we miss it! Truly a perfect Montana experience
The Heritage Ranch is a great place to stay. The cabin was so cozy and the views from the large porch were amazing. Downtown Bozeman was a quick drive away while the property itself provided us with a peaceful retreat from everything. Truly a perfect Montana experience. I highly recommend staying at the ranch!
